Online Course Terms And Conditions
1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms
These Online Course Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the relationship between E-Global Skill Academy Ltd (EGSA) and any individual or organisation purchasing or accessing an online course through https://eglobalskill.com.
By registering, enrolling, accessing course materials, or making payment, you confirm that:
- You have read and understood these Terms;
- You agree to be legally bound by them;
- You are at least 18 years of age or have appropriate authority to enter into this Agreement.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not register for or access any Online Course.
2. User Accounts and Registration
To access Online Courses, you must create a secure user account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and current information;
- Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials;
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account;
- Notify EGSA immediately of any unauthorised access.
EGSA reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts containing false, misleading, or incomplete information. Corporate clients purchasing multiple licences remain responsible for ensuring authorised access only.
3. Course Enrolment and Access
3.1 Course Types
EGSA offers:
- Self-Paced Online Courses
- Synchronous (Live) Online Courses
- Custom Corporate Training
Course descriptions, duration, and access periods are published on the Website.
3.2 Formation of Contract
A legally binding contract is formed when:
- Payment is successfully processed; and
- EGSA confirms enrolment by email or grants access to the Course.
3.3 Access Period
Access is granted for the specific duration stated on the course page. Access automatically expires at the end of the licence period unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. Fees and Payment
4.1 Pricing
All Course Fees:
- Are displayed on the Website;
- Are quoted in USD ($) unless otherwise stated;
- Are inclusive of applicable taxes.
4.2 Payment Methods
Payment must be made in full via approved online payment gateways (e.g., PayPal, Stripe or other authorised processors). EGSA neither store credit or debit card details nor have access to them.
4.3 Corporate Invoicing
Where agreed in writing, corporate clients may be invoiced. Access will only be granted upon cleared funds.
4.4 Non-Payment
Failure to complete payment may result in:
- Suspension of access;
- Withholding of certification;
- Cancellation of enrolment from corporate clients.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
All payments are final and non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.
However, subject to written notice sent to contact@eglobalskill.com at least 2 days prior to a scheduled live session, participants may request:
- Rescheduling (within one month)
- Transfer to another course of equal value
- Substitution of participant (no additional fee)
No refunds will be granted for:
- Failure to attend;
- Failure to complete;
- Technical issues on the learner’s side;
- Change of personal circumstances.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
All Course Materials remain the exclusive intellectual property of EGSA and/or its licensors. This includes but is not limited to:
- Training manuals, Slide decks, Workbooks
- Videos, Assessments
- Branding, logos, designs, Digital downloads
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence strictly for personal professional development.
You may NOT:
- Copy, reproduce, distribute, resell, or sublicense materials;
- Share login access;
- Record live sessions without written consent;
- Upload materials to public or corporate learning platforms;
- Use content to deliver competing training.
Any breach constitutes intellectual property infringement and may result in legal action.
7. User Conduct and Behaviour
EGSA maintains professional standards aligned with global governance and CPD expectations. Participants must:
- Demonstrate respect and professionalism;
- Avoid harassment, discrimination, or abusive conduct;
- Refrain from plagiarism or cheating;
- Maintain confidentiality in group discussions;
- Participate from a suitable professional environment.
EGSA reserves the right to remove any participant for misconduct without refund.
8. Certification and Assessment Policy
Where applicable, EGSA Certification is awarded upon:
- Full attendance (for live programmes); and
- Achievement of minimum 70% in the final assessment.
Assessment attempts:
- Maximum two attempts;
- First within 15 days of course completion and second within 30 days of completion.
Certificates are issued in the name recorded in EGSA systems. It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure accuracy. EGSA certifications do not guarantee employment, promotion, or regulatory recognition unless explicitly stated.
9. Technical Requirements and Support
Participants are responsible for ensuring:
- Reliable internet connection;
- Updated browser software;
- Compatible devices;
- Functioning audio/video (for live sessions).
EGSA is not liable for:
- Internet outages;
- Device incompatibility;
- Learner-side technical failures.
Reasonable technical support will be provided during normal working hours.
10. Privacy and Data Protection
EGSA processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. Data may be used for:
- Course administration;
- Certification;
- Quality assurance;
- CPD reporting;
- Communication regarding training services with corporate clients.
Data is not sold to third parties. By registering, you consent to this processing.
11. Disclaimers and Warranties
EGSA provides training for educational and professional development purposes only. EGSA does not guarantee:
- Specific business outcomes;
- Employment;
- Professional advancement;
- Regulatory accreditation beyond stated certifications.
Course materials are provided “as is” to the maximum extent permitted by law.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EGSA shall not be liable for:
- Indirect or consequential losses;
- Loss of profits, revenue, or business;
- Data loss;
- Technical disruption beyond its reasonable control.
EGSA’s total liability shall not exceed the Course Fee paid. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
13. Termination of Access
EGSA may suspend or terminate access without refund if:
- These Terms are breached;
- Payment disputes arise;
- Fraudulent activity is suspected;
- Intellectual property misuse occurs.
Upon termination, all licences immediately cease.
14. Modifications to Terms
EGSA reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be:
- Posted on the Website;
- Effective immediately upon publication.
Continued use of the Website or Courses constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of United Kingdom. The Courts of United Kingdom shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising under these Terms.
